Life is a rollercoaster infamous for containing ups and downs, lefts and rights, sometimes even reversals; but nobody ever talks about the awkward parts that make you feel stuck or stagnant: places where you desperately wish for time to speed up — for the painstakingly long moment to end.

"Going Up?" is a theatrical representation of the way Alice’s mind works through those awkward situations, using an elevator ride with strangers as the prime example. I've taught myself that regarding the tension as a fun, goofy dance number can make it infinitely more bearable — and also hilarious.
